Rowan is now ten and going slightly deaf but can still hear the whistle, she also knows where every gap under fences, hedges the easiest ways over dry stone walls and where she is most likely to find the birds, ie not far from the guns hence she hasn't been out as much as she would like, she still however marks well takes direction like a dream mostly listens to the whistle and gives a beautiful sitting delivery,
Even at nearly twelve she is still the Alpha Matriarch whatever you want to call her, when she goes out into the pack whether it be a Labrador Spaniel or Shepherd they all treat her with respect a lovely thing to see.
